Dear Dawes Families, 

Summer is almost here!!! We have had a great year!!! Thank you for your flexibility, patience, and support this school year. We had successes and some challenges, yet despite all, we continued the work that had to be done to ensure our students' safety and educational needs.

Good News! Dawes will sponsor two summer programs: CPS Summer Bridge Plus (academic) and Community Schools (Enrichment). Staff will be available to assist parents in paying student fees, registering, and obtaining supply lists from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Thursday from July 8th through August 11th. 

Of course, it is time to say goodbye to some members of our Dawes Family as they start their new ventures in personal life and retirement. Katie Carey, Olga Del Real, Treva (Mickey) Levy, Sophie Price, Marlene Scovil, Kathy Tonner, and Esmeralda Velasco have made a difference in your children’s lives, been valuable members of the Dawes Family,  and will be sorely missed.
